@2 Function of soft-down of presser foot (with aK device only) (Function setting No. 70 and 49)
Ths functon can softly lower the presser foot.
Ths functon can be used when t s necessary to decrease contact nose, cloth defect, or slppage of cloth at
the tme of lowerng the presser foot.
Note : change the time of function setting No. 49 together at the time of selecting the function of soft-
down since the sufficient effect cannot be obtained unless the time of function setting No. 49 is
set longer when lowering the presser foot by depressing the pedal.

@3 Function of reducing speed of reverse feed stitching at the start of sewing (Function setting No. 92)
Functon to reduce speed at the tme of completon of reverse feed sttchng at the start of sewng : Normal
use dependng on the pedal condton (Speed s accelerated to the hghest wthout a break.)
Ths functon s used when temporary stop s used properly. (Cuff and cuff attachng)

When the retry functon s used, f the sewng materal s thck and not perced wth needle, ths functon
makes the needle perce n the materal wth ease.

Sucton tme of presser foot lftng solenod can be changed. When heatng s great, t s effectve to lessen
the value.
(caution) When the value is excessively small, malfunction will be caused. So, be careful when chang-
ing the value.

Ths functon can perform the selecton of the curve of number of rotaton of the sewng machne aganst the
depressng amount of the pedal.
Change to ths functon when you feel that nchng operaton s hard or that pedal response s slow.
