Remote Key Battery
Replacement
Each remote key contains a battery which
is housed under the cover.
T h e f a c t t h a t t h e b a t t e r y n e e d s
replacement will be apparent from the
following:
1. Transmitter light will flash at a slower
rate or does not flash at all.
2. A gradual deterioration in range and
performance will be noticed.
If you find above symptoms, replace the
battery as follows:
• Unfold the key using key release
button (refer Locks and Alarms for
key button description).
• Carefully remove the battery cover in
the direction as shown in below
image.

• Remove the discharged battery from
the key.
• Insert the new battery. Ensure that
the "+" symbol on the battery is
facing upwards. The correct polarity
is shown on the battery cover.
FEATURES AND CONTROLS
• Position the battery cover on the key
and press it until it gets locked in its
place.
CAUTION
Disposal of the used battery should
be in accordance with environmen-
tal regulations.
NOTICE
• Pay attention to the correct polarity
when changing the battery
• The replacement battery must have
t h e s a m e s p e c i f i c a t i o n a s t h e
original battery
