Recommended Fuel

Diesel
Use high speed diesel confirming to IS
1460; 2010 specification or equivalent.
D a m a g e c a u s e d d u e t o t h e u s e o f
substandard fuel / other than specified,
will not be covered under Mahindra
warranties. The operation, power output
and durability of the engine are affected
to a great extent by the quality of the fuel.
CAUTION
• Never add fuel system additives or
cleaning agents. Use of petrol /
kerosene in diesel engines will
r e s u l t i n e n g i n e d a m a g e a n d
adversely affect the emission.
• When replacing the fuel filler cap
ensure that it is tightened until
'click' sound is heard.
• Mahindra recommends normal
diesel to be used.
