CAUTION
When an airbag inflates, there is
dust in the air. This dust could
c a u s e b r e a t h i n g p r o b l e m s f o r
people with a history of asthma or
other breathing trouble. To avoid
this, everyone in the vehicle should
get out as soon as it is safe to do
so. If you have breathing problems
but cannot get out of the vehicle
after an airbag inflates, then get
fresh air by opening a window or a
door. If you experience breathing
p r o b l e m s f o l l o w i n g a n a i r b a g
d e p l o y m e n t , y o u s h o u l d s e e k
medical attention.

SRS Airbag Warning Light (If
equipped)
A warning indicator in the instrument
cluster will alert you to any malfunction of
the SRS airbag. The vehicle should
always be checked for SRS airbag by
Mahindra Authorised Dealer if any of the
following symptoms occurs:
1. The
warning
indicator
illuminate when ignition switch is
turned ON
2. The
warning
indicator
extinguish within approximately 4
seconds when the ignition switch is
turned ON
3. The warning indicator illuminates
after the engine is started or while
the vehicle is being driven

Airbag maintenance

The airbag systems do not require regular
maintenance. But, if any of the following
occurs, take your vehicle to an Authorised
Mahindra Dealer as soon as possible:
FEATURES AND CONTROLS
1. The airbag system warning light
flashes
2. The airbag system warning light
remains ON, when the ignition is
turned to the ON position
3. The airbags inflate
4. The front or side of the vehicle is
damaged, even if the airbag has not
inflated
5. Any part of the airbag module cover
shows sign of cracking or damage
For your safety it is recommended that
fails
to
y o u a l w a y s c o n t a c t t h e M a h i n d r a
Authorised Dealer to carry out any of the
following:
fails
to
1. Removal or repair of any wiring or
component in the vicinity of any of
the SRS components, including the
steering wheel, steering column and
the instrument cluster
2. Modification to the front or side of
the vehicle, including the bumper
and chassis
3. Attachment of accessories to the
front or side of the vehicle
