IDLING SPEED ADJUSTMENT
NOTE: _
Prior to adjusting the idling speed, the car-
buretor synchronization should be adjusted
properly, the air filter should be clean and
the engine should have adequate compres-
sion.
. Engine tachometer:
YU·08036-A, 90890·03113
1.Start the engine and let
it
warm up for
several minutes.
2.Attach:
• Engine tachometer
(to the #1 spark plug lead)
3.Check:
• Engine idling speed
Out of specification
-7
Adjust.
Engine idling speed:
1,150,.. 1,250 r/min

4.Adjust:
• Engine idling speed
Adjustment steps:
• Turn the throttie stop screw

until the specified idling speed is
obtained.
