• Drive gear (oil pump)

2.Measure:
• Tip clearance

Out of specification

Replace the oil
pump assembly.
lip clearance:
0.12 mm (0.005 in)
<Limit>: 0.2 mm (0.008 in)
Side clearance:
0.03 .... 0.08 mm (0.001 .... 0.003 in)
<Limit>: 0.15 mm (0.006 in)
3.Check:
• Oil pump operation
Unsmooth operation

Replace.
