NOTE: This instruction is for
a new (dry) motorcycle that
has no oil yet. The bike does
not need to be ridden and warm
because a known amount of
oil is measured into the bike.
Engine oil level inspection
A.
1.
Stand the motorcycle on a level surface.
Make sure the motorcycle is upright when inspecting
•
the oil level.
Place the motorcycle on a suitable stand.
•

Remove:
Seat

Dipstick CD
•
3.
Inspect:
Oil level
•
Oil level should be between maximum @ and
minimum (@ marks.
Oil level is below the minimum mark
to the proper level.
• Before checking the engine oil level, wait a;few
minutes until the oil has settled.
• Do not screw the dipstick in when inspectlhg the, oil
level.
