3. Check:
• operation
Pump the shock absorbers up and down for
several times.
Unsmooth operation → Replace front/rear
shock absorber.
Refer to "FRONT ARMS AND FRONT
SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLIES" and
"REAR ARMS AND
ABSORBER ASSEMBLIES" in chapter 8.

Always adjust the spring preload for both
front shock absorber to the same setting.
Uneven adjustment can cause poor han-
dling and loss of stability.
1. Adjust:
• spring preload
Turn the adjuster 1 in direction a or b.
