VALVES AND VALVE SPRINGS
2. Lubricate:
• valve stem 1
(with the recommended lubricant)
3. Install:
• valve spring seats 1
• valve stem seals 2
• valves 3
• valve springs 4
• valve spring retainers 5
NOTE:

Install the valve springs with the larger pitch a
facing upwards.
b Smaller pitch
4. Install:
• valve cotters
NOTE:
_
Install the valve cotters while compressing the
valve spring with the valve spring compressor
1 and attachment 2.
