CHECKING THE BRAKE DISCS

1. Check:
• brake discs
Galling/damage → Replace.
2. Measure:
• brake disc deflection
Out of specification → Check the wheel
runout.
• brake disc thickness a
Out of specification → Replace.

INSTALLING THE BRAKE DISCS

1. Install:
• brake discs
NOTE:
Install the brake discs with their spot-faced
side facing the bolt heads.

INSTALLING THE WHEEL HUBS

1. Install:
• wheel axle nut
NOTE:
• Do not apply oil to the seat of the nut.
• After tightening the nut, stake the collar of
the nut into the notch of the shaft.

Front: 0.1 mm (0.004 in)
Rear: 0.1 mm (0.004 in)
Brake disc minimum thickness
Front: 3.0 mm (0.12 in)
Rear: 3.0 mm (0.12 in)
Brake disc bolt
30 Nm (3.0 m · kg, 22 ft · lb)
