10.Lean angle sensor
• Remove the lean angle sensor.
• Connect the pocket tester (DC 20 V) to the
lean angle sensor coupler as shown.
Positive tester probe → yellow/green 1
Negative tester probe → black/blue 2
65˚ 65˚
UP
• Set the main switch to "ON".
• Turn the lean angle sensor to 65°.
• Measure the lean angle sensor output volt-
age.
Lean angle sensor voltage
Less than 65° ± 5° →
3.55 ~ 4.45 V
More than 65° ± 5° →
0.65 ~ 1.35 V
• Is the lean angle sensor OK?
YES

Replace the lean
angle sensor.

11.Wiring
• Check the entire ignition system's wiring.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM".
• Is the ignition system's wiring properly
connected and without defects?
YES
Replace the ECU.
