TOILET-DIAGNOSTIC CHART
VACUFLUSH® (EARLIER MODELS)
PROBLEM
Warer will not stay in bowl
Toilet overfl ows
Water does not enter toilet bowl
properly
Water leaking at water valve
Water leaking at bowl rear
Pump runs excessively between fl -
lushes
Toilet will not fl ush
Note: This informtion is for earlier yachts only
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Loose clamp ring
Improper seal around fl ush ball or
deris on underside of tefl on seal.
Worn or damaged seal or fl ush ball
Dirt stuck in water valve seal or bad
seal
Cam strap bent down holding valve
open
Low water pressure
Water valve closed
Loose connection
Worn or defective water valve
Loose hose connection
Loose or worn vacuum breaker
Flush ball leaks
Vacuum line leaks
Duckbill valves in pump not sealing
Pump bellows in vacuum generator
worn
Plugged vacuum line, vacuum pump
discharge or intake lines
Duckbill valves inverted to clogged
discharge line or seacock

Troubleshooting
POSSIBLE FIX
Tighten clamp ring adjusting nut
Look for foreign objects at fl ush ball
Replace seal or fl ush ball
Clean water valve or replace
Clean water valve or replace
Bend front of strap up 1/16"
Check incoming preesure
Clean fi lter on water valve inlet
Tighten cap, inlet fi tting, clamp
Replace water valve
Tighten connection
Tighten/Replace vacuum breaker
See problems 1 & 2
Tighten all connections at toilet &
vacuum generator
Inspect all duckbill valves for poor
sealing
Inspect for small holes or rip
Clear line(s)
Replace valves
