BATTERY PARALLEL SWITCH
DEPRESS BUTTON
TO ACTIVATE
It is always recommended to let the weak battery recharge
awhile before using the battery parallel switch. This can be
done by using dockside power or by running the genera-
tor. This process will supply some initial charging energy
to the weak battery. It is even more important to follow
the above procedure if the battery is "dead."
To activate the battery parallel switch fi rst start the engine
with the charged battery. Let the engine run for a few
minutes. Now depress the battery parallel button while
simultaneously cranking over the weaker battery's engine.
After the engine starts release the button mechanism.
The battery parallel

each of the engine
cranking batteries.
If one of the en-
gine cranking bat-
teries is weak this
system will use the
good battery from
the one engine to
provide cranking
power for the weak
battery of the other
engine.
