TYPICAL MEDIA CENTER
Salon Entertainment System
Media Center Overview
The media center is the main component for the salon
entertainment center. The media center functions can be
controlled through the Bose master remote control or at
the media center itself.
The media center:
1.
Controls the system on and off power.
2.
Displays and sets desired play options.
3.
Controls the system volume level.
4.
Selects the next available radio preset.
5.
Opens and closes the CD-DVD disc tray.
Note: When you use the media center source but-
ton to control a function the master remote con-
trol will not control that component. Since the
Bose master remote control is easier to use it is recom-
mended as the fi rst option for all component choices. In
addition, the QUICK REFERENCE CARDS are set up
using the Bose master remote control.
TYPICAL SYSTEM COMPONENTS
Important note: When using the Bose master remote
control make sure the salon entertainment center door
is open or the IR signal will not communicate with the
components. Normal range of operation for the remote
control is close to 20 feet.
Bose Master Remote Control-Batteries
The Bose master remote control requires 2 AA batteries.
It is a good idea to keep extra batteries onboard since a
remote seem to quit when you need it the most.
One clue that a remote control needs new batteries is
when you change channels and it will not go up or down
as channels are selected or the television will not come
on.
Television Remote Control
The original television remote control is still used to con-
trol select television functions including set-up menus
such as language, station settings and internal picture
controls such as brightness, contrast and screen pixels.
