INSTALLING/REMOVING OPTIONAL AFT
SECTIONAL FILLER CUSHION/BACKREST
(42 SC)
If the aft sectional fi ller cushion option is installed follow
the procedure below to remove the cushions:
1. Pull the sundeck backrest forward to access the 2 knobs
holding backrest bracket. Remove both knobs. See A.
2. On the forward end of the backside of the backrest
cushion is another set of backrest brackets (See B). Re-
move the 2 backrest bracket knob. Now pull straight up
to release the backrest cushion from the 2 holders. Store
the cushion.

3. Beneath the lower front of the fi ller cushion on both
ends is another set of support brackets (See C). Remove
both knobs of each set of brackets. Tilt the forward edge
of the cushion up and pull it out of the way. Store it for
reassembly along with the brackets and knob assemblies.
Since the brackets are all the same you can mix them ac-
cordingly on reassembly.
4. To reinstall reverse the process. Kneeling seems to help
line up the receivers and the rods on the backrest as it
improves the line of sight.
