9. STANDARD ADJUSTMENTS

9-29. Installing (replacing) the auxiliary clamp on the left side

If necessary, the auxiliary clamp can be removed from the right side and can be installed on the left side instead. In this case,
the following optional parts are required.
(Top)
1. Stop the air and then bleed the air. (Refer to "3-16. Adjusting the air pressure".)
2. Remove the feed base unit (1) from the bed. (Refer to "5-3. Feed mechanism" in the service manual.)
3. Disconnect the air tubes (2) and (3) from the joints (4) and (5).
4. Remove retaining ring C (6).

To install the auxiliary clamp on the left side, first have the
following option parts ready.
