Trimming of the lower thread and gimp is carried out when
the work clamps rise. The auxiliary clamp arm q en-
dures that the material does not move during thread trim-
ming, in order to maintain a stable thread length after trim-
ming.
Turn the A-side needle valve q or B-side needle valve w
to adjust the cloth feeding speed.

The cloth feeding speed is adjusted to an appropriate

speed at the time of shipment from the factory, and should

not be changed unnecessarily.
