Modularized Expansion of Em-IO Interface

The Em-IO interface connector is an open bus interface initiated
by VIA at the end of 2008. The Em-IO integrates popular bus
signals, including USB2.0, GPIO, LPC, PCI Express, VIA Digital Video
Port interface Signals, ACPI 3.0 and 3.3V/5V/12V DC Power
Signals. The Em-IO interface connector enables Em-IO expansion
modules to be attached to Em-ITX form factor board to further
reduces troublesome cabling issues that are usually encountered
when designing systems.
Stacking the Em-IO Module to Em-ITX Mainboard
Step 1
Align the Em-IO connector of the expansion module with the Em-
IO connector of the mainboard.
Step 2
Insert the connector then press the board firmly.
