NTRODUCTION
The Flexible Embedded Board with Em-IO
Expansion
For embedded system developers, flexibility in I/O configurations is
necessary in order to meet diverse embedded applications. It is
important for developers to reduce development costs, risks, and
time. The EITX-3000 is an Em-ITX form factor single board
computer that enables developers to design a system with solid
performance and comprehensive I/O's using its onboard Em-IO
expansion bus. The Em-IO expansion bus makes the system design
more flexible to easily extend functionality. In case a new or
different I/O is needed for a new application to meet time to
market, the standard platform based on Em-ITX form factor can be
stacked with an alternative Em-IO expansion module. This can
greatly reduce development costs and accelerate the product
design cycle.
