DSC OPERATION

D Receiving an individual call

Whle montorng Channel 70 and an ndvdual call s re-
ceved:
➥ The emergency alarm or beeps sound dependng on the
receved category.
➥ "Received Individual" appears n the dsplay.
➥ Push [CLR] to stop the beep, then push [DIAL•ENTER] to
reply the call and select the channel specfied by the call-
ng staton for voce communcaton (dependng on your
replyng condton see p. 28 for ndvdual acknowledge-
ment call procedure for detals.); push [CLR] to gnore the
ndvdual call.

tress' or 'Urgency'; beeps sound for 2 mnutes.
➥ "Received All Ships" appears n the dsplay.
➥ Push [CLR] to stop the beep, then push [DIAL•ENTER]
to montor channel 16 for an announcement from the call-
ng vessel; push [CLR] to gnore the call.
