CONNECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE
■ UT-112 installation
CAUTION: DISCONNECT the DC power cable from the
transcever before performng any work on the trans-
cever. Otherwse, there s danger of electrc shock and/or
equpment damage.
Follow the case openng procedure shown here when you
want to nstall an optonal scrambler unt.
q Remove the 6 screws as shown below and open the
transcever.

w Dsconnect the flat cable and NMEA (4 pn) from J5 of the
LOGIC unt.

e Install an optonal unt (UT-112) to J3 on the AF unt as
shown below.
