■ MB-75 installation
An optonal MB-75 FLUSH MOUNT KIT s avalable for
mountng the transcever to a flat surface such as an nstru-
ment panel.
CAUTION: KEEP the transcever and mcrophone at least
1 meter away from your vessel's magnetc navgaton
compass.
q Usng the template on the last page, carefully cut a hole
nto the nstrument panel (or wherever you plan to mount
the transcever).
w Slde the transcever through the hole as shown below.
e Attach the 2 suppled bolts (M5 × 8 mm) on ether sde of
the IC-M504.
r Attach the clamps on ether sde of the IC-M504.
• Make sure that the clamps algn parallel to the IC-M504's body.
CONNECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE

t Tghten the end bolts on the clamps (rotate clockwse) so
that the clamps press frmly aganst the nsde of the n-
strument control panel.
y Tghten the lockng nuts (rotate counterclockwse) so that
the IC-M504 s securely mounted n poston as below.

u Connect the antenna and power cable, then return the
nstrument control panel to ts orgnal place.
