Central Office Calls, Answering
Central Of ce Calls, Answering is enabled by default.
To answer an outside call:
1. Press
TALK
.
a) If you have Ringing Line Preference, this will answer the incoming call.
b) If you have Automatic Handsfree, you can press the line or loop key without rst lifting the handset.
2. Press the flashing line or loop key.
a) The key will be on after you answer the call.
b) To review, redial, or return an outside call, press the

To place an outside call using a line or loop key:

a) You may have to enter 0-9 for a Line Group number after pressing the loop key.
b) To review, redial, or return an outside call, press the

a) If the number doesn't dial out within 6 seconds, your system probably has Store and Forward enabled. Just

To place an outside call using Line Dial-up or Direct Line Access:

2. Dial Line Group code 9 or 90-98.
a) By default, your system uses 9 for single-digit access to line group 90. Dialing 90-98 is not enabled. If you
hear dial tone as soon as you dial 9, your system has Line Group Routing enabled.
