Step 2
(1) Insert the ends of basket mounting bar 1 into the two basket mounting bar guides.
(2) With the bar ends fully inserted, insert the two decorative screws at the innermost end of the long screw
hole on the basket mounting bar guides and tighten until the screws are fully inserted into the holes at
both ends of basket mounting bar 1.

CHECKPOINT
If you are using the document support wires on the CS1000, pull out basket mounting bar 1 as required.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the basket or to the scanner itself, do not place any heavy objects in the basket or on the
basket mounting bars. Do not allow documents to pile up in the basket, as they may become damaged.
