3u BSR foot interface:
What to test:
•
Attach BSR foot and press 'u' icon to start the test.
•
The bar is displayed in green if o.k.
Repairing note:
•
Replace BSR foot.
•
Replace S-Print.
6.6 Menu 4 – Motor functions
4a Stitch length stepping motor:
What to test:
•
Press icon to start and stop test.
•
The stitch length stepping motor moves left to right and right to left,
and the feed-dog moves forth and back.
•
Test done! appears.
•
Test failed! appears if an error occurred.
•
Press ESC to exit the test.
Repairing note:
•
If a stepping motor does not spin, the failure might be with the stepping motor or the S-Print. Swap
the connections to find the defective PCB.
Attention: Not when machine is powered. Disconnect machine from mains supply.
•
If the error still occurs, check P-Print functioning and replace if necessary.
•
The tests are selected here by pressing the appropriate
button.
•
