5.18 artista 630 needle height

Standard:
•
Set needle to right needle position.
•
Set hook tip flush with right hand needle edge
•
needle on its upwards movement).
•
From a front view, the lower edge of the hook tip
should be 0.2mm above the top edge of the
needle eye.
Correction:
•
Loosen needle bar clamp screw (64).
•
Move needle bar to prescribed position.
•
Retighten screw (64).
Attention:
•
The needle bar must not turn.
•
Use twin needles to check if necessary.
Note:
•
Check threader position (p. 56).

5.19 artista 640 needle height

Standard:
•
Attach 9mm presser foot and set needle to left position.Position hook
tip flush with the left edge of the needle (needle must be in its upwards
movement).
•
From a front view, the point of the hook tip should be 0.2mm below the
upper edge of the needle eye.
Correction:
•
Remove needle, thread guide clamp and
thread guide.
•
It may be necessary to replace the stop pin.
