4.16 Presser foot pressure sensor

Disassembly
1. Remove covers.
2. Remove adjusting wheel lock (161).
3. Remove carefully the adjusting wheel
(162) so that the spring loaded
pressure lever remains in place.
4. Remove metal guide (164).
5. Remove plug (143) from P-print (149)
and remove cable (163) from cable
guide.
6. Loosen screws (165).
7. Replace pressure sensor
potentiometer (166).
Assembly:
1. Replace pressure sensor potentiometer (166).
2. Refit screw (165).
3. Place cable (163) correctly in guide.
4. Reconnect plug (143).
5. Refit metal guide (164).
6. Refit adjusting wheel (162). Make sure the pressure
lever fits into the spring, into the potentiometer and the
guide of the adjusting wheel.
7. Refit adjusting wheel lock (161).
8. Refit covers.
9. Carry out a functional check (test 5e, p. 91).
10. Sew-off.

4.17 Winder motor

Disassembly:
1. Remove covers.
2. Disconnect plug (144) from P-Print (p. 26).
3. Remove securing screw (42).
4. Replace winder motor.
Assembly:
1. Fit new winder motor and fasten with the
securing screw.
2. Reconnect P-Print plug (144) (p. 26).
3. Refit covers.
4. Test winder functioning (tests 3h and 4k,.
p.77 / 86)
5. Adjust winder function.
