Platform Rotator

The platform rotator is a hydraulically activated
helical gear assembly used to rotate the platform
160 degrees.
How to Remove the Platform
Rotator
Component damage hazard.
Mark the platform mounting
weldment and the rotator flange
before removing the platform
mounting weldment. The
platform mounting weldment
must be replaced in the exact
same position on the rotator
flange as it was before removal.
If a new rotator is installed or the
rotator is disassembled, proper
alignment can be achieved by
rotating the rotator all the way to
the left and then installing the
platform mounting weldment all
the way in the left position.
Note: When removing a hose assembly or fitting,
the O-ring (if equipped) on the fitting and/or hose
end must be replaced. All connections must be
torqued to specification during installation. Refer to
Specifications, Hydraulic Hose and Fitting Torque
Specifications.

Component damage hazard. The
platform angle sensor is a very
sensitive instrument. It can be
damaged internally if is dropped
or sustains any physical shock,
even if the damage is not visible.
Bodily injury hazard. Spraying
hydraulic oil can penetrate and
burn skin. Loosen hydraulic
connections very slowly to allow
the oil pressure to dissipate
gradually. Do not allow oil to
squirt or spray.
