Remove the engine pivot plate retaining
fastener. Swing the engine pivot plate out
away from the machine.

Locate the engine pivot plate anchor hole at
the pivot end of the engine pivot plate.

Install the bolt that was just removed into the
anchor hole to secure the engine pivot plate
from moving.
Crushing hazard. Failure to
install the bolt into the engine
pivot plate to secure it from
moving could result in death or
serious injury.

Remove the retaining fasteners from the fixed
turntable cover at the ground controls side of
the machine. Remove the fixed turntable
cover from the machine.

Tag, disconnect and plug the fuel hoses from
the fuel tank. Clean up any fuel that may have
spilled.

Close the two hydraulic tank shut-off valves at
the hydraulic tank.

Remove the drain plug from the hydraulic tank
and completely drain the tank into a container
of suitable capacity. Refer to Specifications,
Fluid Capacity Specifications.

Tag, disconnect and plug the two suction
hoses from the hydraulic tank.
10 Tag, disconnect and plug the two supply
hoses for the auxiliary power units. Cap the
fittings on the hydraulic tank.
11 Tag, disconnect and plug the hydraulic hose
from the drive motor case drain filter at the
hydraulic tank. Cap the fitting on the hydraulic
tank.
12 Tag, disconnect and plug the hydraulic hose
at the return filter. Cap the fitting on the return
filter housing.

Component damage hazard.
The engine must not be started
with the hydraulic tank shut-off
valves in the closed position or
component damage will occur. If
the tank valves are closed,
remove the key from the key
switch and tag the machine to
inform personnel of the
condition.
