VOICE CALLING

Voice Calling allows you to make a verbal announcement over a called
station's speaker, as an alternative to having the call ring the station. You
can alternate between these two calling options by repeatedly pressing
your station's Voice Calling access key or soft key. Each station is
individually allowed to send and/or receive voice calls. Voice calls can be
sent over prime lines or intercom lines only.
If the called station is allowed to receive a voice call, PERCEPTION 4000
HDT2020SD digital telephones will display the Voice Calling (VCL) soft
key label.
The called station will also receive this tone.
This allows the call to be forwarded or to be picked up either via Call
Pickup or from another appearance of the called line. You can alternate
between voice calling and ringing by repeatedly pressing either of these
keys.
