3. Enter the digit (1 ~ 8) that
corresponds to the message
that you want to leave at the
called station.
To Leave a Voice Mail Message:
1. If you call a station and are
routed to the voice mail
system, follow the system's
verbal instructions regarding
how to leave a message.
2. To access the voice mail
system to leave a message for
a station user, dial the voice
mail system's directory
number, enter the station's
mailbox number, and leave a
message according to the
system's verbal instructions.
To Retrieve Messages:
1. Access an idle line.
2. Press the MESSAGE key.

Listen for success tone.
Your telephone will display "MESSAGE SENT."
The message will be left at the called station and the station's MESSAGE
LED will light. The station will display the number of messages left at the
station. When the called party accesses the registered message(s),
he/she can view each message individually and selectively return,
cancel, or skip each message.
Voice Mail Messaging
For further information, refer to the Voice Mail Station User Guide that
applies to the voice mail system being used with your PERCEPTION
4000 system.

MESSAGE RETRIEVAL PROCEDURES

Message Waiting Key Callbacks
When your telephone's MESSAGE LED is lit:
If the message is a voice mail message, the voice mail system will be
automatically called. Any messages left in your mailbox can be retrieved
by following the voice mail system's operational procedures.
If the message was left by a station, the station that left the message will
be automatically called back.
