To Register or Change an
Advisory Message on an
HDT2020SD Telephone:
1. From any call state, press the
ADV soft key.
2. To view the remaining
available messages, press the
NEXT soft key.
3. Press the digit corresponding
to the desired message 1 ~ 8.
To Cancel an Advisory Message
from an HDT2020SD Telephone:
1. From any call state, press the
ADV soft key.
2. Press the CNCL soft key.
will be recorded in SMDR reports. If the system has not been
specified to accept only certain account codes, then any number of
entered digits will be accepted and will be recorded in SMDR.
7. After entering an optional account code via feature access code, you
will be automatically reconnected to the held party by either pressing
the RLS key or waiting for success tone to time out.
8. At any time before an account code is successfully entered, you can
return to a held call by pressing the RLS key.

ADVISORY MESSAGE REGISTRATION

You can register a message at a PERCEPTION 4000 HDT2020SD
digital telephone so that the message will display on other HDT2020SD
digital telephones that call your station. You can select from several
different messages that are predefined in the PERCEPTION 4000
system database, to advise callers that you are out to lunch, in a
meeting, etc.
The advisory message selection screen for messages 1 ~ 4 will appear.
The NEXT and ESCP soft keys will appear.
The advisory message selection screen for messages 5 ~ 8 will appear.
The message will be registered at your telephone. Your telephone will
display the message as its current status, and other HDT2020SD
telephones that call your station will display the registered message.
The CNCL, NEXT, and ESCP soft keys will appear.
The message will be canceled. Display telephones that call your station
will receive no message indication.
