Description
The UUID of this PVR.
This ID is copied over
from the PVR general
configuration entry.
The name of the Encina
file that maintains PVR
cartridge metadata.
Advice: The cartridge file name for each PVR must be unique. Multiple PVRs
cannot share the same SFS file for cartridges. Suggested names are:
cartridge_3494 for IBM 3494 PVRs
cartridge_aml for ADIC AML PVRs
cartridge_lto for IBM 3584 LTO PVRs
cartridge_stk for StorageTek-based PVRs
cartridge_rait for StorageTek RAIT PVRs
ccartridge_operator for Operator PVRs
If two robots of the same type are managed by two different PVRs, be sure that each
one has a different SFS file for cartridges.
The total number of HPSS
cartridges to be stored in
this PVR. This is not a
hard limit, but rather the
point at which major
alarms will be generated.
The maximum percentage
of cartridge capacity
allowed in a PVR before a
minor alarm is generated.
Advice: Depending on operational policy, in some sites it is wise to leave a small
number of free slots in a PVR to allow room for a small number of cartridge
injections without the need for corresponding ejects.
