This menu item allows the HX851 to:
a. use the internal GPS to compute and display position information (de-
fault setting)
b. use the NMEA output of an external GPS Chart Plotter to input position
information into the HX851 by connecting to the CD-38 charging cradle.
Refer to page 18 for connections. This is a useful feature when the
HX851 is located in an area where GPS reception is limited and this
selection increases battery life of the HX851 between charges.
