1. GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1 INTRODUCTION The HX460S is a miniature 5-Watt portable two-way VHF marine transceiver. The transceiver has 173 channels: 163 marine and 10 weather. The 163 marine channels are switchable to comply with USA, International, or Cana- dian regulations. It has an emergency channel 16 which can be immediately selected from any channel by pressing the 16/9 key. -
