9 SERVICE PROCEDURES

9.18 Replacing Seat

This procedure applies to Excelerator Series Handcycles only.

1. Remove the locknuts, bolts, and coved spacers from both sliding
seat rail brackets.
2. Remove sliding seat and seat rails from brackets.
3. Remove the locknuts from the threaded studs from seat rails on
both sides of seat.
4. Remove the seat from the seat rails.
5. Reverse STEPS 3-4 to install a new seat onto the seat rails.
6. Reverse STEPS 1-2 to install sliding seat and seat rails onto the seat
frame.
