3. Connecting the base to the mains power supply

1. Insert the small jack on the power cable from the rear into the recess in
the housing.
2 Plug the jack into the port marked with the \ icon on the underside of
the base.
3 Then connect the power cable to the mains power supply.

Keep the power adapter plugged in at all times for operation, as the base
does not work without a mains connection.

Now you can make calls with your base via the fixed line or ISDN, and can be
reached via your fixed line number or the main number of your ISDN connec-
tion!
An answering machine on the base is set with a pre-recorded announcement in
answer and record mode
