Getting Started

1. Slide on the Embroidery
Unit.
2. Turn on Designer I
3. Calibrate the unit by pres-
sing on the pop-up
menu.
4. Insert the Designer I USB
Embroidery Stick into the
Built-in USB port on the right side of the se-
wing machine.
5. Touch . An hourglass appears on the
screen as the disk menus are brought up on
the screen.
6. Touch . An hourglass appears as the
designs are brought up on the screen.
7. Touch . An hourglass appears as the
designs are brought up on the screen.
8. Touch design . An hourglass appears as
the design comes up on the screen.
Select a different embroidery at any time.
Touch to return to the design menus.
Touch . A Pop-up appears with recommen-
dations about needle size and type, stabilizer, 40
weight embroidery top thread, 70 weight bobbin
thread, presser foot R and an icon to bring up a
color menu.
