Built-in USB port

Connect: The Designer I USB Embroidery Stick
can only be inserted one way — do not force
it into the port! A light at the end of the stick
indicates that the Designer I USB Embroidery
Stick is plugged in correctly. When loading from
or saving to the Designer I USB Embroidery
Stick, the light fl ashes and an hourglass appears
on screen.
Remove: To remove, carefully pull the Designer
I USB Embroidery Stick out straight. Do not pull
out while the light is fl ashing.
Removing the Embroidery unit
1. To put the embroidery arm in the rest po si tion
to store it in the embroidery case, touch
(the needle up/down function button). The
embroidery arm will move to the rest po si tion.
Switch off the machine.
2. To release the unit, raise the large button at
the right front of the unit and slide the unit to
the left.
3. Close the cover on the socket.

and placement markings on all sides are marked
for easy placement in the hoop.
The menu number (in black), design number (in
red), and stitch count (number of stitches in the
design) are next to each design.
The thread spools show the suggested thread
colors for each color number and give the
thread color number for 40 weight Rayon
embroidery thread.
