Scanning Thick Documents

When scanning thick documents, such as a book in its binding, please note:
• Areas of the document that are not touching the flatbed glass will not be scanned properly.
• If the document moves during scanning, the document will not be scanned properly.

Repeated Use of the Flatbed

When using flatbed scanning for a series of documents, keep the feeder tray raised. You only need to raise
and lower the document cover as you scan each document.
