Click the Install Software steps sequentially, Step 1 to Step 4. In Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you
will need to log on to the computer with Administrator privileges in order to complete the installation.
Please refer to your Windows user manual or call your information technology department to find out
how to log on with Administrator privileges.

User Utility
1. Click Step 1 User Utility. The User Utility must be installed to properly operate the scanner.
2. Read the license agreement and click Yes to accept the agreement.
