Scanner Manual Feed Setting

You can use the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) to scan a document one sheet at a time. This setting
is not recommended for multiple or batch feeding; the bottom feeder roller is dropped, making it easier to
scan thicker documents through the ADF.
To scan a single sheet manually, perform the following procedure:

Set the feed selector switch to MANUAL. The feeder will adjust automatically to the manual feed
position.

Adjust the document guides so that the space for the document is slightly wider than the size of the
document.
