The Trūper scanner may be connected to a computer system using the SCSI interface instead of the USB
interface. To use the scanner with a SCSI connection, the computer system to which you connect the unit
must have a SCSI adapter board. You will also need to obtain and connect a SCSI interface cable.

Connecting the scanner with another SCSI device in a daisy chain is NOT RECOMMENDED.
We recommend that you use a SCSI cable that is shorter in length than that recommended by the
manufacturer of the SCSI board.

Before you connect the SCSI interface cable, press the scanner power switch to the OFF position
and turn off the power for the computer.

Connect one end of the SCSI cable to an available SCSI port on the computer and connect the
other end to the SCSI connector on the scanner.

Do not connect a USB and a SCSI cable to the scanner at the same time.
