4.6.1 Setting Up Your Connections

The first thing you need to do is set up the three connections described in the
example in
network access; the second connection for IP phones using VoIP; and the third
connection for streaming media to the HDTVs.
Open the Network > WAN > Internet Access Setup screen.

• Set the Mode to 'Routing'.
• Set the Encapsulation to 'ENET ENCAP'.
• Assign a VLAN ID of '10'.
• Enable VLAN Logging.
• The other settings on this screen should be provided by your ISP.
Note: This connection is not explictly labeled Connection 1 as the ZyXEL Device
gives it a default name of 'Internet Connection' in the Web Configurator. You
will be able to label subsequent connections, however.
Click Apply to save your changes.
