Installation
STEP 16 Ensure the safety reversingsensors are aligned
Thedoor will notcloseif the sensorshave notbeeninstalledandaligned correctly.
Whenthe light beamis obstructed or misaligned while thedoor is closing,thedoor will reverseand the
garagedoor opener lightswill flashtentimes.If thedoor is alreadyopen, itwill notclose.The sensors
can be alignedbylooseningthe wingnuts,aligningthe sensors, a nd tighteningthe wingnuts.
Checkto makesurethe LEDs inbothsensorsare glowingsteadily.The LEDsin bothsensorswill glow
steadilyifthey are alignedand wiredcorrectly.
If the receiving sensor is in direct sunlight,
switch it with sending sensor so it is on the
opposite side of the door.
IFTHE AMBERLEDON THESENDINGSENSORIS NOTGLOWING:
1. Makesurethere ispower to thegarage door opener.
2. Makesurethesensorwire is not shorted/broken.
3. Makesurethesensor has beenwiredcorrectly: w hitewiresto whiteterminaland white/black
wiresto greyterminal.
IFTHE GREENLEDON THERECEIVING SENSORIS NOTGLOWING:
1. Makesurethesensorwire is not shorted/broken.
2. Makesurethesensorsare aligned.
STEP 17 Ensure the door control is wired correctly
Ifthe doorcontrol has beeninstalledandwired correctly, t he commandLEDon the Motion-Detecting
ControlPanel willblink.
