    Preparation Safety Symbol and Signal Word Review Check the Door This garage door opener has been designed and tested to offer safe service provided it is installed, operated, maintained and tested in strict accordance with the instructions and warnings contained in this manual.

    Assembly STEP 1 Assemble the rail and install the trolley SLIDE TO STOPS To prevent INJURY from pinching, keep hands and fingers away from the joints while assembling the ON TOP AND rail.     Adjustments Introduction One-Piece Doors Only When setting the UP travel for a one-piece door ensure that the door does not slant backwards when fully open (UP). If the door is slanted backwards this will cause unnecessary bucking and/or jerking when the door is opening or closing.

    Maintenance Maintenance Schedule The Remote Control Battery EVERY MONTH Manually operate door. If it is unbalanced or binding, call a trained door systems technician. Check to be sure door opens and closes fully. Adjust if necessary, see page 28. Test the safety reversal system. Adjust if necessary, see page 30.     Troubleshooting Diagnostic Chart Your garage door opener is programmed with self-diagnostic capabilities. The UP and DOWN arrows on the garage door opener flash the diagnostic codes.
