STEP 2 Install the header bracket
Youcan attachthe headerbracketeitherto the wallabove thegarage door, or to theceiling.Followthe
instructions whichwill workbestfor your particularrequirements.Do not install the headerbracket over
drywall.If installing intomasonry,use concreteanchors(notprovided).

1. Centerthe bracketon the verticalcenterlinewiththe bottomedgeofthe bracketon the
horizontalline asshown.
2. Markthe verticalsetof bracketholes.Drill3/16" pilotholesand fastenthebracketsecurelyto a
structural s upportwiththe hardwareprovided.

CEILING INSTALLATION
1. Extendthe vertical c enterlineonto theceiling asshown.
2. Centerthe bracketon the verticalmark,no morethan 6" (15 cm)from thewall. Makesurethe
arrow ispointingawayfromthewall.The bracketcan be mountedflushagainstthe ceiling
when clearanceis minimal.
3. Markthe side holes.Drill 3/16" pilotholesand fastenbracketsecurelyto a structural s upport
withthe hardwareprovided.
