STEP 11 Wire the door control to the garage door opener

1. Runthe whiteand red/whitewirefromthe door controlto thegarage door opener.Attachthe
wireto thewall and ceilingwiththestaple (notapplicablefor gang box or pre-wired
installations). D o notpiercethe wire withthe stapleasthismaycausea shortor an open
circuit.
2. Strip7/16inch (11 mm)ofinsulationfromtheendofthewirenearthegaragedooropener.
3. Connectthe wireto the red andwhiteterminalson thegarage door opener.Ifyour garageis
pre-wiredmakesure you usethe samewiresthatare connectedto the door control.To insert
or releasewiresfromthe terminal,push inthe tabwithscrewdrivertip.
STEP 12 Attachthe warning labels
1. Attachtheentrapmentwarninglabel onthe wall near thedoor controlwithtacksor staples.
2. Attachthe manualrelease/safety reversetest labelin a visiblelocationon the insideofthe
garage door.
