Cuttheend of thesafetyreversingsensorwire,makingsurethere isenoughwire to reachthe
pre-installedwiresfromthewall.
Separatethe safetyreversingsensorwiresandstrip 7/16 inch(11 mm)of insulationfrom each
end.Ohoosetwoof the pre-installedwiresandstrip 7/16inch (! 1 mm)of insulationfromeach
end.Makesurethatyou choosethe samecolorpre-installedwiresfor eachsensor.
Connectthe pre-installedwirestothe sensorwireswithwire nuts makingsurethecolors
correspondfor each sensor.Forexample, t he whitewire would connecttothe yellowwireand
thewhite/black wire wouldconnecttothe purplewire.
Atthe garagedoor opener,strip 7/16inch (! 1 mm)of insulationfromeach end ofthe wires
previouslychosenfor the safetyreversingsensors. T wistthe like-coloredwirestogether.
Insertthewiresconnectedto the whitesafetysensorwirestothe whiteterminalon the garage
door opener.Insertthewiresthatare connectedtothe white/black safetysensorwiresto the
greyterminalon thegarage door opener.
