STEP 9 Connectthe door arm to the trolley
Installation willvary accordingto thegarage door type.Followthe instructions whichapplyto your door.
SECTIONAL DOORS
IMPORTANT: T he grooveon the straightdoor arm MUSTfaceawayfromthecurved doorarm.
1. Closethedoor. Disconnect t hetrolleybypulling the emergencyreleasehandle.
2. Attachthe straightdoor arm to theouter trolleyusingtheclevispin. Secure withthe ring
fastener.
3. Attachthe curveddoor armto the door bracketusingthe clevispin. Secure withthe ring
fastener.
4. Bringarm sections together.Findtwopairs of holesthatline up andjoin sections. S electholes
asfar apartas possibleto increasedoor arm rigidityand attachusingthebolts,nuts,and lock
washers.
5. Pullthe emergencyreleasehandle towardthegarage door opener untilthetrolleyrelease
arm is horizontal. T he trolleywill re-engageautomatically whenthe garagedoor openeris
activated.
NOTE: ffthe holes in thecurveddoor arm and thestraightdoorarm do not align,reversethe straight
door arm,selecttwoholes (as farapart aspossible)andattach usingbolts, nuts,andlockwashers, ffthe
straightdoor armis hanging downtoo far,you may out6 inches (! 5 cm)from thesofidend.
